Making a start on this initiative the first year was a real act of faith, but none more so that in the area of finance. In the first year we saw churches & individuals give just over £10,000 to make it happen (and we spent all but £100 of it) & that increased in the second & third years.
We were absolutely blown away by the generosity of organisations & churches as they’ve given financially, committed the time/support of their staff and have agreed to cover many of the practical aspects of the project. And we’ve received generous donations from individuals too.
So far God has ensured that we’ve been fully resourced – and we’re trusting Him for the same again this year.
We’re keen to hear from individuals, churches & organisations who can help financially by sponsoring an element of the project, or practically (and so reducing the costs we’ll incur). Could you or your church/organisation make a donation, sponsor a young person or resource, or raise some money?
All cheques to be made payable to Bridgebuilder Trust who manage all our finances but please clearly mark your cheque with ‘Hope MK’ on the back so that the money goes to the right place.
